The company's transformation into a Benefit Corporation is a natural consequence of the way of doing business that has always distinguished BlueIT; it represents a distinctive, transparent and measurable element vis-a-vis the market. In Italy, BlueIT therefore became the first IT Benefit company, whose definition process involved the entire first line of management.

The Innovation Hub project was born, inaugurating the artificial intelligence laboratory, the AI Accelerator. A program to help SMEs introduce AI into their realities, thus supporting our goal of making technology democratic and not just a prerogative for a few.

The Innovation Hub project is expanding further. The Technology Accelerator was created to be able to develop innovative projects in the infrastructure field. In the same year, a collaboration agreement was signed together with Formula and IBM so as to innovate on ERP systems that are based on Power/AS400 (IBMi) infrastructures. BlueIT has always been excellence in the field and this collaboration is the culmination of this recognized ten-year journey.
BlueIT Benefit Company
BlueIT decides to start the process to become a Benefit Company in 2020 and obtains legal qualification in 2021.
